Salsa workshop

Salsa is a very popular dance with Cuban origins. Nowadays, there are different ways to dance the salsa. You can think of the Cuban Salsa, Rueda de Casino, Mambo, New York Style and LA Style, for example. The Salsa is made up of different figures. There is no set pattern, because the emphasis is on the movement and the music.

The figures are therefore determined by the man / leader based on the music. During this workshop, we mainly focus on the LA Style where the leaders step on the first beat with their left leg forward. This style is best known and is the most danced in the Netherlands. The most important elements will come to light, the right techniques will be taught and after this workshop you will know the first basic steps and turns. You can do this workshop as a couple, but also solo!
