For me, dance is much more than movement to music \u2014 it is a way to express yourself, build confidence, and create genuine connection with others.<\/p><p>Dance and music have been part of my life from an early age. I grew up surrounded by rhythm and movement, and I have been dancing since childhood. My mother is from<span class=\"v1gmail-Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>Cura\u00e7ao<span class=\"v1gmail-Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>and my father from<span class=\"v1gmail-Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>Cape Verde<span class=\"v1gmail-Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>\u2014 two cultures where music, dance, and expression are deeply rooted in everyday life.<\/p><p>From this background, my love for Latin music and dance naturally developed. What began as a hobby quickly grew into a lifestyle. Over the years, I have specialized in<span class=\"v1gmail-Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>Salsa, Bachata, Kizomba, and Afro dance<span class=\"v1gmail-Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>\u2014 styles in which technique, musicality, and emotion come together.<\/p><p>With Latin Supreme, my goal was to create a place where everyone feels welcome, regardless of level or experience. A space where people can learn, make mistakes, and grow \u2014 with respect for one another and without pressure or judgment.<\/p><p>In my classes, the focus goes beyond steps alone. Attention is given to posture, musicality, leading &amp; following, and dancing with confidence. Creating a comfortable and supportive atmosphere is always central, so everyone feels free to be themselves.<\/p><p>Over the years, I have obtained multiple<span class=\"v1gmail-Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>diplomas and teaching certifications<span class=\"v1gmail-Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>in dance education. These form the foundation of my teaching approach: professional, structured, and with genuine personal attention.<\/p><p>When I step into a class or workshop, I do so with awareness of the group in front of me. I listen, observe, and adapt the lesson to what is needed in that moment. No group is ever the same \u2014 and that dynamic is what makes each class unique.<\/p><p>My intention is to teach every class in a clear, accessible, and enjoyable way \u2014 so learning to dance is not only educational, but something people truly look forward to.
